Early Childhood Coordinator

As an Early Childhood Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and their families. This role offers the chance to support the delivery of our NDIS Early Childhood Approach at a local level.

This is a dynamic and rewarding position where you can contribute to positive outcomes for children and their families while growing both personally and professionally. You will work closely with families to help children reach their full potential through effective planning and support, while also fostering meaningful connections within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting families through a child and family-centred approach, ensuring children receive appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
  • Using your qualifications in early childhood, allied health, social work, or a related field to inform evidence-based decision-making.
  • Completing functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determining their needs and ensuring timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
  • Connecting families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance their social participation and access to essential services.
  • Guiding families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
  • Utilising the NDIS plan to support children and their families with improved choice, control, social participation, and overall quality of life.
