We are seeking a dedicated Quality and Risk Officer to join our client's team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in driving quality, managing risks, and making a meaningful impact in your community.

About the Role
  • Develop and maintain quality management systems aligned with industry standards.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and strategic risks through a robust risk management framework.
  • Prepare reports and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Review and update policies and procedures to reflect current legislation and best practices.
  • Lead incident management processes and support root cause investigations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure staff are trained in quality and risk practices.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and funding bodies.
What We're Looking For
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Risk Management, Business, or similar).
  • Minimum of 3 years in quality and/or risk management, ideally within a not-for-profit or community services environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and risk frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, generate insights, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and conducting training sessions.

  • Part-time position (0.4 FTE / 30.4hrs per fortnight) for an initial 6-month period
