- Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and bring a positive attitude to work. Make customers happy and promote a helpful and friendly environment to ensure a great impression while delivering service standards. Bring a positive, collaborative, and hardworking attitude to work daily. Learn and discuss the menu of products to better connect with guests through recommendations. Manage inventory with organization, display, and stocking of products. Ensure compliance with British Columbia's regulations regarding cannabis sales, including ID verification.
- Education and Experience: Cash handling and POS experience in retail, hospitality, or food services. At least 1 year of customer service experience with a proven ability to exceed guest expectations and respond kindly and respectfully. Proactive in acquiring product knowledge to serve guests confidently. Warm, confident, customer-focused personality with high attention to detail. Selling It Right certification and minimum age of 19.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Passion for the cannabis industry; knowledge of cannabis is an asset. High ethics, values, integrity, and trust.
- Compensation: Starting at $20.00/hour plus tips. Wage increases to $20.50/hour after successfully completing the probationary period.
