A Payroll Officer is a critical member of our dynamic team, responsible for delivering exceptional results in payroll processing. With experience in payroll and strong analytical skills, you will be the driving force behind our end-to-end payroll operations.
Your key responsibilities will include executing fortnightly payroll for over 2,000 employees with precision and accuracy, as well as maintaining employee records and calculating terminations efficiently. You will also provide guidance on National Employment Standards, Fair Work legislation, and ALDI internal policies.
- Execute payroll with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Process payroll-related payments and maintain employee records.
- Provide guidance on NES, Fair Work, and relevant payroll legislation.
- Respond to and resolve payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
To excel in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience in a similar payroll position.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, including NES and Fair Work.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
