Youth Vocational Specialist

Our organization provides tailored education programs and vocational training to students who benefit from a supportive learning environment. These programs are designed to help students develop practical and personal skills, enhancing their school attendance, engagement, and confidence.
The role of a Vet Coordinator is focused on delivering support services to young people and adults, fostering strong relationships with families and support networks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and facilitating employability programs for participants
- Supporting the operation and delivery of vocational education and training
- Assisting in delivering associated programs, services, and events offered to individuals
- Collaborating with trainers to deliver academic and wellbeing programs to participants
The ideal candidate will be looking for a challenging opportunity, passionate about working with young people, with a strong interest in developing holistic growth. They will have a commitment to client-centered practices, creative, and innovative approaches.
Requirements include:
- Certificate IV in Career Development or equivalent qualification
- Significant demonstrated recent experience in working with at-risk youth
- Able to provide individualized support and action plans enabling young people to realize opportunities and grow in academic and vocational capacity
