Headspace Work and Study Vocational Specialist About us : Stride is the largest provider of headspace centres in Australia and a leader in mental health service delivery, specialising in working with adults, young people, and in early childhood intervention.
Stride aims to support recovery and well-being through dedicated services.

About the headspace Townsville service : Headspace Townsville, under Stride's leadership, delivers high-quality, evidence-based clinical care to young people aged 12-25 years.
Our multidisciplinary team provides support for mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drug use, and employment and study pathways.
Services include: One-At-A-Time supports for brief interventions.
Moderate intensity group and individual therapy for specific mental health concerns.
You Are Not Alone (YANA), a suicide prevention program.
Tern, a trauma recovery program.
Work and Study support for young people engaged in counselling at headspace Townsville.
Role details : Location: Townsville, QLDPart-time (2 days/week), permanent Salary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650 Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards and wellbeing leave Additional leave purchase options Supportive team environment and training opportunities Role overview : Provide Individual Placement and Support (IPS) vocational services to young people with mental health difficulties, in collaboration with the clinical team, to support their employment and education goals.
Requirements : Ideally tertiary education in human services (e.g., social work, psychology)Experience and passion for youth mental health and employment support Knowledge of vocational planning and mental health disorders Strong computer and administrative skills Eligibility for Blue Card and NDIS worker screening Valid driver's license Stride values diversity and is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable people.
