Rural Real Estate Agent

About the role

As a rural real estate professional, you will specialize in prospecting, listing and sale of rural properties. Your understanding of unique characteristics and challenges of rural real estate, from zoning and land use regulations to water rights, soil types, and infrastructure, will enable you to build strong relationships with landowners, investors, and buyers.

You will provide expert advice, market analysis, and tailored marketing strategies that highlight value and potential of each property. Strong relationships within rural communities and ability to navigate both traditional and digital marketing channels are key to success in this role.

A competitive remuneration package is available with flexibility depending on applicant experience and proven sales history.

Responsibilities:

  • List, market and sell rural properties
  • Build and maintain client relationships to understand current & future needs
  • Participate in business development programs
  • Achieve targets for sales, listings, appraisals and vendor-paid advertising
  • Ensure personal compliance with all professional standards and reporting requirements
  • Work with team to allow clients to explore new opportunities
  • Maximise promotional opportunities, including helping at field days and community events

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess local real estate industry experience and associated influences
  • Can appraise properties and identify positive aspects and potential
  • Hold a Real Estate license and a current driver's license
  • Possess an understanding of Real Estate Legislation with keen eye for detail
  • Have excellent communication, organisational, negotiation and client relationship skills
  • Are a team player who is enthusiastic, energetic and highly organised with good time management skills
