Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced portfolio analyst to join our team. As a senior portfolio analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development of long-term network investment plans and developing portfolio reports and analytics.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop long-term network investment plans to ensure effective allocation of resources.
- Analyse forecasted price and volume movements against historical performance to identify key variances, trends and drivers of movements against previous forecasts.
- Support investment owners in Electricity Networks teams to upload 10 year forecasts into the Asset Investing Planning Tool (Copperleaf).
- Review investment projects/programs and validate benefit streams are applied in accordance with the Value Framework.
- Conduct analysis to draw out meaningful insights and make recommendations to support scenario analysis and review portfolio management outcomes within the budget year.
- Present data into a concise set of tables and graphs showing clear trending and areas of focus.
- Maintain process documentation for the portfolio management framework.
- Validate project costs and benefits that underpin their economic assessment.
- Experience in portfolio management and financial investment principles.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Engineering, IT or relevant discipline.
