**Job Description**

We are seeking a strategic finance professional to join our leadership team as a Finance Business Partner for Residential Services.

In this role, you will provide financial management, business analysis, financial modeling and reporting, budget preparation and development for the Residential Services Leadership Team.

You will identify and recommend areas for business improvement in processes and systems, work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the provision of high-level advice and support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide data-driven insights to achieve performance targets
  • Deliver end-of-month financial reviews and guide the annual budget process
  • Create tailored budget roster templates
  • Identify areas for business enhancement and refine reporting structures
  • Upskill Residential Services leaders in financial literacy
  • Collaborate with Residential Services Managers, Regional Business Managers, and Finance, IT, Procurement, and BI departments
  • Drive the development of essential metrics and conduct business analysis
  • Educate team members on BI principles
  • Implement processes to safeguard against operational and financial risks

Requirements:**

- Tertiary qualification in business, accounting, economics, or a related field
- Ongoing or completed postgraduate accounting studies (CPA, CA or similar)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
- Knowledge of SQL queries for backend data interrogation
- Accounting experience, with a preference for aged care or the human services sector
- Sharp analytical and critical thinking abilities and expertise in financial modeling and problem-solving.
- Positive disposition with strong relationship-building aptitude and adaptability in dynamic work settings
- Inquisitive mindset with a drive to delve deeper into data.
