Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Job Description

The role of an IT Support Specialist is to provide technical assistance and support to staff and students with various IT issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration, Windows Server Technologies, and Apple devices.

The incumbent will be responsible for administering and supporting the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and desktop computers. This includes troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software problems, installing and configuring new hardware and software, and maintaining the school's IT documentation.

This is a part-time position, working 9.80 hours per week. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

  • Relevant experience in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of wireless deployment and Department initiatives
  • Previous experience with planning, deployment, and management of 1 to 1 user/devices in a high-quality school environment
  • Able to plan and run ICT professional development sessions
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with the Schools' ICT Management, teaching, and learning teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
