Specialist Gastroenterology Services Provider
The Canterbury Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Gastroenterology Services Provider to join our medical team. The primary purpose of this role is to participate in the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in gastroenterology.
As a key member of the General Medicine Department, you will be responsible for participating in the Gastroenterology/Liver consultant roster, including inpatient consultations and the Liver Clinic. You will also be expected to ensure a high standard of professional performance and contribute to an academic environment that supports education, research, and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong clinical background in gastroenterology and fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Gastroenterology) or equivalent specialist recognition. You will also need to be registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Working in this role, you will have opportunities to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, participate in quality improvement activities, and contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures. In addition, you will be supported to maintain your professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest advances in gastroenterology.
