Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys to identify customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
  • Service, inspect and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
  • Accurately document maintenance performed on equipment using systems including Field Services.
  • Participate in inventory management and stock takes.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a tester with electrical annuals is essential.
  • Cert II - FPAS qualification is required.
  • Ability to work independently and across different disciplines (mechanical, pumps, sprinklers).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of products and industry standards, with the ability to locate relevant information.
  • Sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards related to fire protection equipment and testing requirements.
  • Technical or engineering competency with the ability to complete identified company training and accreditation.
  • Current driver's licence and White Card are mandatory.
