Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to install, service and maintain portable fire equipment.
  • Service portable fire equipment on customer premises and recommend relevant safety systems and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service and advice to clients on site.
  • Utilize power tools to install and repair portable fire equipment such as extinguishers and blankets.
  • Receive overtime pay for travel to remote sites.
  • Use Field Service mobile phone application to plan and organize your schedule.

About the Role:

  • No prior experience in the Fire industry is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  • A customer-focused mindset and ability to interact with clients are essential.
  • FPAS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred, but in-house training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • A valid Driver's Licence and construction industry white card (or willingness to obtain one) are required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, with a focus on basic maintenance and/or mobile service delivery.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients on site.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work away from home when required – Remote sites.
  • Demonstrate efficiency through prior time and route planning.
  • Prepare written reports and quotations as needed.
  • Contribute as a proactive member of the team.
