Business Risk Advisor

This role involves providing strategic guidance to the business on managing risk across various programs and initiatives. The Business Risk Advisor will work closely with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the organization's objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. They will be able to provide timely advice and support to ensure the effective implementation of risk strategies and frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a broad understanding of the complex compliance and regulatory environment within which the area operates.
  • Providing strategic guidance to the business on managing risk across various programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the organization's objectives.
  • Developing and implementing key risk indicators to monitor risk levels.
  • Hold a shared responsibility to deliver and innovate Group Risk's strategic objectives.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years' experience in Strategy, Program Risk or Risk function.

Tertiary or post-graduate qualification in a business, management, risk or other relevant discipline.

Experienced in development and management of key risk indicators, especially those relating to strategy, programs and project outcomes.

Prior experience within complex changing environments with multiple stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes.
