About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Everyday Independence. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping people enjoy everyday life by building their confidence and skills in their daily environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support people to overcome barriers that are holding them back from engaging with their local community and the wider world.
  • Work in an interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and build the capacity of participants and their supports to achieve personal goals and fulfill their potential.
  • Design a caseload based on your clinical passions and areas of interest.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Great listening skills and a positive approach to risk.
  • Drive to deliver high-impact outcomes in participant lives.
  • Flexibility to work in a commercial environment.
  • Commitment to developing yourself and the people around you.
  • Ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Three years or more experience as an Occupational Therapist, either working in the community or disability sector, is highly desirable.
