KU Children's Services is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Program. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing multidisciplinary supports for children aged birth to 7 years.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated therapist who is committed to helping make a difference in the lives of children in play-based learning environments. If you have experience in supporting the developmental needs of children and administering and scoring assessments, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders, including families and other professionals
- Support the developmental needs of children through individualised interventions and group programs
- Administer and score a range of assessments to inform practice and support child development
- Develop and implement Individualised Support Plans (ISPs) in collaboration with families and other professionals
- Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
- Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases
- Meticulous time management and organisation skills
- An estimated salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum
