Job Summary
KU Children's Services is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team in providing early intervention services to children aged birth to 7 years across NSW and Victoria.
About the Role
We require an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist who is committed to supporting the developmental needs of children in play-based learning environments. The successful candidate will have experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments, report writing, and providing feedback to families.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders, including families and other professionals
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support the developmental needs of children
- Administer and score a range of assessments to inform therapy plans
- Write reports and provide feedback to families on their child's progress
Requirements
- Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children in early intervention settings
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office package and online databases
