Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Vegetation Management Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of vegetation communities, including local native plant and weed species identification, and a relevant qualification in conservation and land management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking various vegetation management and rehabilitation activities for private industry and government authorities.
  • Conducting bush regeneration, habitat restoration, native tree planting, brush cutting, weed control, chemical spraying, and vegetation clearing for bushfire management.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • General knowledge of vegetation communities.
  • A relevant Certificate in Conservation & Land Management or related qualification relevant to bushland management.
  • Practical knowledge of work health and safety policies and procedures, risk management practice, and principles.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and field equipment.
  • Physical fitness, a solid work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to function in a team environment.
  • A current NSW driver's license.
  • White Card (construction induction).
  • ACDC/ChemCert qualifications.
