Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and managing HVAC systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that all mechanical installations comply with Australian standards and client requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC design and project management. You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers throughout project life cycles, providing technical support and expertise to ensure successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and managing HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects
  • Performing heat load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and equipment selection using relevant software tools
  • Preparing mechanical design drawings, specifications, and technical reports
  • Overseeing installation and commissioning of mechanical services
  • Liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering (ANZSCO Skill Level 1)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design software
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical services design and project management
  • Excellent knowledge of Australian standards and Building Codes
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000
