Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the formation, award, and administration of less complex subcontracts in accordance with established project procedures and corporate guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and maintains bidders' lists; conducts supplier prequalification.
  • Develops Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages in coordination with functional groups.
  • Issues RFQ packages to qualified bidders and manages the clarification process.
  • Coordinates and participates in pre-bid, bid clarification, and pre-award meetings.
  • Receives, opens, and conducts commercial evaluations of bids.
  • Prepares Commercial Bid Summaries and recommendation for award.
  • Leads or supports negotiation of subcontract terms and pricing for assigned packages.
  • Secures required approvals in accordance with Supply Chain procedures.
  • Prepares and conforms subcontract documents for execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in subcontract formation and/or administration.
