About the Role

SBS is seeking a highly skilled Network and Storage Lead to join our Technology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of our network and storage infrastructure.

As a lead, you will guide and assist the immediate Infrastructure team and the technology department on issues related to the design and deployment of networking and storage systems. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational administration and maintenance of SBS's Network and Storage environments and solving any problems/issues that may occur.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in networking and storage, with experience in Cisco networking, Dell Isilon/Powerscale, NetApp, SAN technologies, and other relevant technologies. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN and WAN networks, routers, switches, and firewall solutions
  • Maintain the underlying storage platforms and ensure they are managed in line with best practice processes
  • Lead the Transformation/Migration to cloud requirements for the Network and Storage team

Requirements:

  • Strong background in networking and storage
  • Experience in Cisco networking, Dell Isilon/Powerscale, NetApp, SAN technologies, and other relevant technologies
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
