Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in logistics management and a strong defence background.

The successful candidate will provide logistical support to deliver a major defence project, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and correct discrepancies within logistics data
  • Provide logistical advice and support to project teams
  • Liaise with management, staff, customers, contractors and other organisations
  • Train and mentor junior staff
  • Ensure transfer of knowledge to the rest of the team

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Logistics Management
  • Experience using objective reasoning
  • Strong understanding of commercial practices
  • Demonstrated experience in a Defence environment
  • High level attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • NV1 security clearance
