About the Role:

Benny's Espresso Coolum Beach is seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency, and contributing to menu development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation & Service: Assist in preparing meals, ensuring they are served on time and meeting Benny's high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Kitchen Team Support: Work closely with the kitchen team, taking a lead role when required to ensure safe and efficient work practices. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Stock & Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory and ordering, ensuring minimal wastage and that stock is stored appropriately.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to menu updates and seasonal changes in collaboration with the head chef, while helping maintain consistency in food offerings.
