Job Title: Surgical Care Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated nurse to coordinate care for surgical patients.

About the Role:

  • Provide clinical leadership, support nursing teams, and contribute to improving patient outcomes and services within a supportive healthcare environment.
  • Manage delegations of care, ensure nursing practices align with policies, and offer professional advice.
  • Coordinate care for surgical patients and develop strategies to improve patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  2. Conduct regular assessments to identify patient needs and prioritize interventions.
  3. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the Nursing Board of Australia and a practising certificate.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of legislation, safety standards, and contemporary nursing practices.
