Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Communications professional to lead our external communications strategy, focusing on building awareness and endorsement of our data and analytics capabilities.

You will work closely with senior leaders across the Group Chief Operating Office, Technology & Enterprise Operations, and Enterprise Data & Analytics functions to drive a proactive and integrated external agenda, including media, social media, and relevant trade media.

Your key responsibilities will include supporting the planning, advice, and execution of our communications strategy, managing issues, and working collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and other stakeholders to ensure consistent alignment of our messaging and communications activity.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference through your work, driving business decisions that build trust and drive change for the benefit of customers, communities, and our organization.

Key Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience in Communications/Media and Public Relations/Employee Engagement
  • Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor who influences outcomes with senior to mid-tier executives/stakeholders and/or mitigates issues to achieve communications objectives
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple issues and stakeholders, while working in a dynamic, cross-functional, and collaborative team environment to achieve Communications outcomes
  • Experience working in the technology/digital/data sectors is advantageous
