Masp Coordinator Role

The Masp Coordinator will support area-based multi-agency safety planning for children at risk of high harm behaviours and contact with police.

The Coordinator will establish partnerships with key organisations and agencies at area-level and work with these partnerships to identify high-risk children in the local area, share information, and develop individual and community safety plans to support incident response.

Accountabilities Include:

  • Initiate and maintain effective relationships and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders at peer or senior levels to gain cooperation and meet service delivery objectives.
  • Manage delivery of key functions integral to the service model, including developing individual incident/safety plans for identified cohorts.
  • Use innovative thinking and analysis to advance solutions to area-based issues, including facilitating community-based safety planning based on analysis of local cohort needs.
