Specialist Pharmacy Leader
As a Specialist Pharmacy Leader in Cancer Care, you will play a key role in advancing the standard of care and patient outcomes through expert leadership and strategic collaboration.
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive medication management strategies to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication use across oncology services.
Oversee the end-to-end medication management process for chemotherapy and supportive medicines, ensuring timely therapy initiation and seamless patient flow within oncology wards and outpatient clinics.
Mentor and supervise pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy technicians in Cancer Care, promoting clinical excellence and performance optimisation through knowledge sharing and effective leadership.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and maintain standards of practice, clinical guidelines, and formulary processes that meet the evolving needs of patients and stakeholders.
About You:
- A registered pharmacist with AHPRA registration (no conditions on practice) and eligibility for Grade 2 classification under relevant health awards.
- High-level clinical expertise and judgement in Cancer Care pharmacy services, with thorough knowledge of relevant governance, regulatory, and quality standards.
- An effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, able to collaborate with healthcare professionals and engage meaningfully with patients.

- Strong leadership and communication skills to drive collaborative practices and advance patient care.
- Excellent clinical expertise and judgement in Cancer Care pharmacy services.
- Ability to lead and mentor team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
