The EPR Infrastructure Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance and security of server estate supporting EPR system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the team responsible for server estate deployment, maintenance and support within the EPR Infrastructure unit.
  • Oversee design, configuration, deployment and maintenance of server and database environments supporting EPR applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between database and server infrastructures.
  • Develop and implement server and database deployment strategies aligning with business growth plans and project initiatives.
  • Proactively monitor server and database environments, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and potential issues to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Engage in capacity planning exercises to ensure server and database resources meet business requirements and facilitate scalability.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning and failover/fallback exercises for Epic infrastructure, ensuring timely recovery in case of failures and minimizing data loss.
  • Collaborate with vendors, technical teams and end-users to troubleshoot Epic Infrastructure incidents and problems, and implement solutions.
