Offers are open for an enthusiastic and passionate candidate to join the department of Older Peoples Services at Ipswich Hospital, part of East Suffolk and Northeast Essex foundation as a specialist Occupational Therapist in frailty.

There has never been a more exciting time to join our team and work with us to develop services to meet the needs of our older population, enabling them to age well and with dignity in an ever-changing landscape. The integrated pathways division has the older peoples services, therapies and community services for Ipswich and East Suffolk sitting within the same division allowing acute geriatric services to work seamlessly with community services and allows the flexibility to meet patient needs wherever they may be.

You will join a team of skilled frailty interface practitioners including nurses, therapists and Geriatricians. These services reach into the front door emergency department assessing our frail patients at the point of need and helping to streamline their care.

Assessment will also take place in the frailty assessment base where a multidisciplinary team can provide acute and complex care. This integrated team will continue to develop frailty services and pathways.
