Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished professional to oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of pumps in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault Diagnosis and Pump Repair: Conduct thorough fault diagnosis, strip and survey pumps, identifying parts and assessing condition per QA procedures.
  • Pressure Testing and Rebuilding: Perform pressure testing and rebuild pumps to ensure functionality and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor department personnel, supporting recruitment, training and performance management.
  • Operational Targets and Job Scheduling: Collaborate with Service Center Management to achieve operational targets and ensure efficient job scheduling.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintain long-standing customer relationships and uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development through meetings and workflow optimisation.

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate III Mechanical Fitter or Equivalent:
  • Experience Working with Pumps: 5+ years' experience working with pumps.
  • Communication and Time Management Skills: Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Team Management: Ability to engage others and manage a team
