Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Kalgoorlie. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out end-to-end pump diagnostics and repairs, conducting on-site audits, delivering scheduled servicing and maintenance, and assisting with project installations and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out pump diagnostics and repairs, including stripping, assessing, rebuilding, aligning, and testing equipment.
  • Conduct on-site pump audits, capturing performance data, identifying risks and inefficiencies, and providing recommendations to improve reliability and lifecycle cost.
  • Deliver scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs on Allied Pumps equipment at customer sites.
  • Assist with project installations and commissioning, including pre-start checks, functional testing, customer handover/training, and documentation.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • OHSC/Blue Card
  • Experience in HSE compliance and working safely in manufacturing or construction environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and colleagues
  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Computer literacy with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with pumps (highly desirable)
