Job Overview
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide expert care and support to children and their families.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address complex behavioral and emotional issues.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify underlying causes of behavioral and emotional difficulties.
  • Design and deliver tailored therapeutic programs to meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Experience in neuroaffirming psychological assessments and a willingness to learn and adapt to new approaches.
  • Background in play therapy or family therapy an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of child development, behavior, and mental health principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Able to empathize and connect with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds.
  • Openness to continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
