Overview

Health Information Services Officer - Part-time 22-24 hours a week

Geelong Clinic is a 73-bed Psychiatric Hospital offering inpatient, day programs and outreach services for individuals experiencing mental health problems. Onsite parking is available.

Responsibilities
  • Medical record retrieval
  • Provision of health information to internal and external clients
  • Filing of paperwork
  • Filing of medical records
  • Day-to-day functionality of the Health Information Service Department
  • Participating in performance improvement activities
  • Culling of medical records

Essential Criteria
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
  • Ability to work within deadlines
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience with the WebPAS patient information system
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel)
