As a Head Coach, you will be responsible for guiding students to achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for discipline and sportsmanship, and increased self-esteem. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape young athletes and contribute to the growth of their abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background or equivalent experience, with a minimum of TWO years in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Work closely with the Athletic Director to schedule games and events efficiently.
    • Oversee the organization, administration, and philosophy of the sport effectively.
    • Serve as a leader in the community program.
  • Supervisory Tasks:
    • Assist the Athletic Director in recruiting and hiring qualified coaches.
    • Evaluate assistant, sub-varsity, and volunteer coaches in your sport.
    • Assign duties to coaching staff effectively, promoting teamwork and results.
  • Record Keeping Obligations:
    • Maintain accurate team and program rosters, ensuring up-to-date records.
    • Develop a consistent and positive communication procedure with players, parents, and staff.
    • Keep accurate statistics, records, and results of the season.
  • Athletic Behavior/Eligibility Obligations:
    • Enforce rules and regulations concerning player conduct and eligibility strictly.
    • Ensure players are aware of their responsibilities and expectations clearly.
    • Address any issues related to bullying or hazing promptly.
Requirements:
  • Four-Year College Degree or equivalent experience.
  • First aid and CPR training required.
  • Experience in teaching, coaching, and sports medicine preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
