The role of a Middle School Head Girls Wrestling Coach involves leading and managing the school's girls wrestling program. ">Essential Qualifications:
  • A strong background in wrestling
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Criminal history clearance (background check)
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • NFHS Coaching Education certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of head coaching experience
  • Proficiency in computer/technology skills

The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, training, evaluating, and mentoring assistant coaches. Additionally, they must maintain awareness of district policies, instruct and demonstrate skill sets, ensure proper equipment storage and maintenance, enforce discipline policies, and emphasize sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles. Travel may be required to supervise student athletes during team bus activities. The selected individual will also manage records, complete necessary paperwork, and provide guidance on healthy lifestyles.
