Strategic Human Resources Consultant for People and Culture

As a dynamic HR professional, you will be reporting directly to the P&C National Manager at Charterhouse.
The role is initially contracted for 4 weeks with the possibility of extending into a longer-term opportunity. The organization operates a flexible hybrid work model, typically working in the office 2-3 days per week.
This exciting position involves building strong relationships across the business and acting as a trusted advisor to management teams on people and employment matters.
- You will develop expert knowledge of performance management, workplace investigations, workforce planning, employee engagement, remuneration/benefits, recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
Key responsibilities include:

- Providing technical expertise on performance management, workplace investigations, workforce planning, employee engagement, remuneration/benefits, recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
- Contributing to organisational planning and decision-making by providing expert knowledge of People & Culture related policies and procedures and legislative frameworks.
- Working with regional management to provide support to staff raising grievances and complaints.
- Assisting staff seeking advice on all matters relating to their employment.
- Participating in the development, review, and implementation of the full suite of People & Culture policies and procedures which serve to embed organisational values and facilitate uniform best practice across the organisation.
- Providing advice, assistance, and case management on management of a range of matters including; Dispute Resolution; Unsatisfactory Work Performance; Misconduct; Consultation; Change Management and Organisational Restructure; Redundancy and Redeployment; Termination; Workcover and Return to Work; Role Design and Classification.
