Senior Executive Leadership Opportunity

This is a unique position that requires a strategic leader with the ability to provide high-level advice and guidance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate services, governance, and risk management.

The Role

The Executive Director (Corporate Strategy) plays a pivotal role within the organisation, providing strategic advice to the leadership team regarding governance, change, and risk management. This includes leading an effective enabling services function, driving major initiatives to support agency growth and transformation, and managing a multi-functional team.

In addition to operational oversight, the Executive Director will lead continuous improvement strategic initiatives and support the preparation of various reports and submissions to ensure alignment with government priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strategic leadership skills: with the proven capacity to inspire and lead change initiatives, navigate complex public administration policies and systems, and identify trends.
  • Change management expertise: experience in leading major change initiatives to support organisational growth and evolution.
  • Leadership skills: demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams across the corporate services function.
  • Communication skills: sophisticated communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
  • Organisational planning: advanced planning, prioritisation, and resource management skills.
  • Cultural leadership: drive to promote a respectful, ethical, and inclusive workplace culture.
