Job Opportunity: Clinical Director of Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to take on the role of Clinical Director of Medicine at our hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to our medical department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

About the Role:

  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to our medical department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of medical professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and services.

About Our Hospital:

Our hospital is a level 2 hospital with 354 beds, providing a wide range of medical services, including cardiology, trauma care, and medical specialties. Requirements:

  • Qualifications from a recognized tertiary institution and experience appropriate for current registration as a Specialist in Medicine with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification.
  • Eligibility for accreditation as a RACP-approved supervisor.
