Vocational Education Training Leadership Role

The role of Vocational Education and Training Coordinator is crucial in our institution, requiring a strong leader to drive the success of our students. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and guide their team, and maintain strong relationships with students, families, peers, and industry partners.
Key responsibilities include leading the Careers department, overseeing student work placements, promoting and coordinating the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Program, and building partnerships with post-secondary institutions and community organizations.
This position requires a tertiary teaching qualification and TRBWA registration, as well as current Working with Children registration. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is also essential.

- Possess exceptional leadership skills to drive the Careers department's success.
- Lead by example, demonstrating the College's values and guiding team members towards achieving common goals.
- Student Support:
- Serve as a key point of contact for students, providing guidance and support throughout their transition to post-secondary education and employment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of VET programs.
- Program Management:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote and coordinate the VET program.
- Manage program logistics, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality outcomes.
The successful applicant will be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education, with a demonstrated ability to innovate and implement positive change within the organization.
