Senior Environmental Risk Manager

As a key member of the team, this role provides senior leadership in managing environmental obligations and reducing risks to human health and the environment from pollution or waste. This position will identify, manage and mitigate environmental and contaminated land risks within the port.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist advice for environmental assessment and management of assets and lands.
- Offer expert guidance on contamination assessment and management aspects of development proposals, site works, property acquisitions, leases, infrastructure licenses, dredging and other issues.
- Ensure compliance with Environment Legislation and adhere to ISO Standard 14001:2016.
- Provide ongoing compliance with dredging programs and environmental management obligations.
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Integrated Management Systems relating to ISO Standards Quality 9001:2015, Environment 14001:2015 & OHS 45001:2018.
A tertiary qualification in a related discipline, or equivalent, is required along with a sound understanding of principles and methodologies for effective stakeholder engagement.
