We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our team at The Salvation Army Australia. As a key member of our Youth Services team, you will be responsible for delivering client-centred training and youth programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision and support to youth workers and trainers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure all components of the youth and training programs align with the Journey to Independence Model and Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) practice framework.
- Lead the daily management and coordination of the youth and training programs.
- Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with community partners, government bodies, and agency partners.
- Develop trainer and youth worker capability to ensure all RTO requirements are met.
- Specialist Adult Literacy qualification.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading staff.
- Experience and competency in delivering case management practice within a Youth setting, desirable.
- Thorough understanding and experience working with young people experiencing multiple and complex worries.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- Excellent organisation and administrative skills with capacity to balance workload, determine priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Valid WWCC – Blue Card.
- Current QLD Driving Licence.
