Warehouse Assistant Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to become a vital part of our team as a Full-Time Warehouse Assistant.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders ready for dispatch and delivery whilst maintaining safe manual handling practices and contribute to daily workflow as part of a team.

  • Receiving and processing customer orders using wireless scanner and SAP to track inventory and ensure proper stock levels.
  • Accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and processing customer orders in line with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Assembling procedure packs accurately following strict quality and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identifying and resolving inbound and outbound discrepancies.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and meet daily targets.
  • Performing general data entry, record keeping, and warehouse duties as required.
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Physically fit to perform tasks in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience in a Warehouse role (desired or willing to be trained at entry-level).
  • Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • Capable of following standards and procedures, with good communication skills to get the job done safely and accurately.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners and SAP is a plus.
  • Able to work flexibly and within tight time schedules in accordance with varied workload.
  • Possess great interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with all areas of the organization.
  • Skilled at problem-solving and taking initiative when needed.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers and technology.
