Project Coordinator - Construction and Commissioning

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to support the delivery of our cell-culture manufacturing facility in Australia. This facility will be the only cell-based influenza vaccine manufacturing facility in the Southern Hemisphere and will also produce products important to Australia's public health needs.

You will work closely with the FCC Commissioning / Construction Coordinator to ensure that the actual construction work meets the requirements and specifications of the project. Your role will involve supporting equipment installation during the construction phase to ensure that the FCC installation goals are met on time.

The Role

You will report directly to the FCC Commissioning / Construction Coordinator and will be responsible for managing external contractors, ensuring the project construction schedule meets the requirements, monitoring construction activities for compliance, developing necessary documents, and assisting in cost management.

Requirements

- At least 6 years' experience in process engineering, commissioning or construction project management
- Experience with process and engineering systems, ideally within the Pharmaceutical or a similar highly regulated industry
- Strong leadership skills to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver complex projects
- Financial management skills to handle budgetary responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of quality, risk and contract management processes
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance codes relevant to the manufacturing environment
