About the Role

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and designing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet technical and business needs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud services for cost, performance, security, and reliability.

You will engage with senior leadership to align cloud strategies with organizational goals and partner with product owners and developers to identify and assess security controls in line with PSPF, ISM, E8, and internal policies.

You will contribute to the implementation of CNAPP/SASE tooling across cloud platforms and work with Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Domain Services for integrated cloud identity solutions.

You will develop and test Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate tools and solutions before deployment in the cloud environment and liaise with agencies to understand current architectures and incorporate them into future designs, including Zero Trust Architecture planning.

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to technical and business requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Azure identity services and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Ability to work in high-security environments and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Australian Citizenship with NV1 clearance or higher is mandatory.
