About the Role:
Hays Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contributions Planning Officer to join our client's team in a permanent capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and manage major strategic land use policies, projects, and contribution plans.
- Analyse and provide advice to council staff on project planning, as well as providing evidence-based recommendations to achieve business unit objectives.
- Work closely with the planning and executive management teams to provide high-quality service and achieve the council's mission.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's experience in specific contribution planning work, with additional time spent working in a similar position within the wider planning space.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of NSW planning legislation systems.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as town planning, Geography, urban architecture, or equivalent.
- Positive can-do attitude, high level of communication, mediation, accounting, and negotiation skills.
