Senior Software Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a senior software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a modern SaaS platform with smart AI functionality, sleek UX, and real automation that delivers on the AI promise.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building production systems, particularly in fintech or payments, and experience designing and operating distributed microservices architectures.

The role involves owning significant impact, shaping a world-class product from day one, and working closely with the founding team to drive technical direction and company culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-quality software components using JVM expertise (Kotlin or Java) with deep Spring ecosystem knowledge, or other complex backend languages
  • Develop scalable, maintainable codebases for growing teams and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and meet tight deadlines
  • Continuously improve processes and workflows to optimize speed and quality

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience building production systems in fintech, payments, or other regulated industries
  • Strong JVM expertise (Kotlin or Java) with deep Spring ecosystem knowledge, or deep experience working in other complex backend languages
  • Proven experience designing and operating distributed microservices architectures
  • Database design with ACID/audit requirements and strong PostgreSQL knowledge
  • Cloud-native development with containerisation and IaC (we use Google Cloud)
  • Track record of building scalable, maintainable codebases for growing teams
  • Excellent taste in product and UI design – You have a strong sense of what makes a great user experience and care about the details.
