Senior Backend Engineer

Job Description:

This is a senior backend engineering position in our company. The role involves designing and leading the development of scalable backend systems that support admin experiences for large teams and organisations.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who can work closely with cross-functional teams to understand multi-team admin needs, identify opportunities for system improvements and turn them into scalable reliable solutions.

The successful candidate will have expertise in JVM-based languages such as Java or Kotlin, experience in designing and leading backend strategies for large-scale distributed systems and skills in mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards.

Additionally, they will be able to communicate technical ideas clearly, translate evolving product goals into clear technical strategies and executable milestones.

Required Skills:
  • Expertise in JVM-based languages such as Java or Kotlin
  • Experience in designing and leading backend strategies for large-scale distributed systems
  • Skills in mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards
  • Able to communicate technical ideas clearly
