Network Support Engineer Opportunity

TMLI is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Engineer to join our Support Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

About the Role:

  • Provide Level 2 remote and on-site support to clients with diverse network requirements.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with project teams to design, configure, deploy, and support network solutions that meet business needs.
  • Implement and manage network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Continuously improve processes and provide technical support and training to other team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer in an MSP environment or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Cisco/Juniper certifications such as CCNA/CCNP.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and implementing firewall policies.
  • Proficiency in supporting and managing Wireless solutions.
  • Understanding of Windows Server features, including DNS, DHCP, NPS, and RADIUS.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Superior problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with Unified Threat Management Platforms (e.g., Sophos, Cyberhound).
  • Experience working with prominent network vendors, such as Juniper, Cisco, Extreme, Palo Alto, Meraki, Aruba, Aerohive, and FortiGate.
  • Basic understanding of virtual, private, and public cloud networking concepts.
  • Experience with load balancers.

Compensation and Benefits:

TMLI offers a competitive salary package and a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional growth and development, access to the latest technologies and tools, hybrid working arrangements, and a supportive and collaborative work environment.

The estimated salary for this position is between $90,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
