Heavy Duty Mechanic Position Available

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our mining operation at an open cut mineral sands mine in the picturesque southwest region.
This is a full-time, permanent position working a 38-hour week compressed into a 9-day fortnight, every second Friday off. The successful candidate will report to our Maintenance Coordinator and be responsible for conducting routine and complex maintenance procedures on various plant equipment, including Caterpillar Dozers and Loaders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine and complex maintenance procedures on various plant equipment, including Caterpillar Dozers and Loaders.
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Identify and rectify any equipment issues promptly.
- A Trade Qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
- At least 3 years' experience working as a heavy diesel mechanic, preferably in the Mining sector.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and good communication and interpersonal skills.
