We provide bespoke solutions for soil structure interaction, encompassing retain, cross, protect, and strengthen:

  • Retain: Develop earth retaining solutions, including Mechanically Stabilized Earth walls and other structures.
  • Cross: Design structures to cross obstacles, such as bridge abutments, underpasses, tunnels, culverts, and wildlife crossings.
  • Protect: Deploy robust protection systems to mitigate damage from natural disasters.
  • Strengthen: Provide geosynthetic soil reinforcement solutions for applications like basal reinforcement and slope stabilization.

About the Role

\

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager/Engineer to drive our expansion and diversification objectives. You will be supported by a team of committed business development professionals and engineers. Your key responsibilities will include identifying and securing projects, fostering long-term relationships with clients, and meeting commercial targets.

Qualifications & Skills

\

The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in civil, geotechnical, or structural engineering, construction, or project management. Industry experience in sales, business development, or account management within the civil engineering, geotechnical, geosynthetic, or mining sectors is also essential. Strong analytical skills, professional networks, business acumen, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical proficiency are also required.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include uncovering new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with clients, championing Geoquest's products and services, developing strategic sales plans, responding to tenders and project inquiries, negotiating contracts and commercial agreements, conducting client site visits, and representing Geoquest at industry events.
